Bow Ties & Boots

It's one of those sights that I have yet to grow accustomed to - docs in their lab coats sporting bow ties with their dress shirts and cowboy boots. Only in Texas, I guess. This isn't limited to the young hip crowd either. It spans the generations the freshest resident to the oldest practitioner. The quandary that their garb brings up is "are you here to check how my incision is healing?" or "are you looking to herd up the cows?". (If they are dashingly handsome and smell vaguely of Old Spice maybe...just maybe...they could round up some nurses.)

These everyday heroes are the cowboys of the TMC taming one terrible illness at a time, pioneering research studies and performing little miracles everyday. Not as smelly as the Wild West but it'll do.
